Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using the Bricoule platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Bricoule mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
During account registration, you must check the box confirming "I have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions." You cannot proceed with registration without accepting these terms.
2. Definitions
- "Bricoule" — the company operating the Platform, including its mobile apps, website, and backend services.
- "Client" — any individual or entity that uses the Platform to request home services.
- "Tasker" — any service professional who uses the Platform to offer and perform home services.
- "Service" — any home repair, maintenance, cleaning, or other household service offered through the Platform.
- "Booking" — a request made by a Client to hire a Tasker for a specific Service.
3. Account Registration
To use the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials.
- Notify Bricoule immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
Bricoule reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.
4. Tasker Verification
All Taskers must be verified by the Bricoule admin team before they can appear in client searches or receive bookings. Verification includes:
- Identity verification
- Skills and qualifications review
- Background checks where applicable
Only verified Taskers are visible to Clients. Non-verified Taskers cannot receive bookings through the Platform.
5. Booking & Scheduling
Clients can book a Tasker for immediate service (ASAP) or schedule for a future date and time. The following rules apply:
- Bookings are subject to Tasker availability.
- 30-minute reminder notifications are sent before scheduled jobs.
- Pending jobs with no Tasker assigned after 10 minutes are automatically cancelled.
- Clients may cancel a booking before the Tasker arrives.
6. Payments
All payments for services are processed through the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to:
- Pay the agreed-upon amount for services rendered.
- Understand that payments are for real-world, physical home services.
- Accept that Bricoule may charge service fees or commissions as disclosed in the app.
Bricoule is not responsible for disputes between Clients and Taskers regarding payment amounts, but may mediate at its discretion.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Client cancellation: Clients may cancel a booking before the Tasker arrives. Cancellation fees may apply depending on timing.
- Tasker cancellation: If a Tasker cancels, the Client will be notified and no charge will be applied.
- Refunds: If a service is not completed satisfactorily, Clients may request a refund through the app. Refund requests are reviewed within 48 hours.
- Disputes: Payment disputes should be reported to support@bricoule.com within 7 days of the service date.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform.
- Circumvent the Platform's payment system to pay Taskers directly.
9. User-Generated Content
The Platform may allow users to post reviews, messages, photos, and other content. By posting content, you:
- Grant Bricoule a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content.
- Represent that you own or have the right to post the content.
- Agree not to post content that is offensive, defamatory, or violates any law.
Bricoule reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate.
10. Account Suspension
Bricoule may suspend or terminate any account at its discretion, including for:
- Violation of these Terms & Conditions.
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity.
- Complaints from other users.
When an account is suspended, the user will see the reason for suspension upon attempting to log in. Suspended users may contact support to appeal.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Bricoule is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Bricoule is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Taskers.
- Bricoule's total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bricoule, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these terms.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through:
- Informal resolution: Contact support@bricoule.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
- Mediation: If informal resolution fails, the parties may agree to mediation.
- Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco.
14. Changes to These Terms
Bricoule reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
